Host A Clinic With Christina

Sunny Side Horsemanship

STEP 1: CHOOSE A FACILITY: You should have a spacious ring preferably about 100×200 or
larger to give plenty of room for participants. The ring would preferably be fenced with good
footing. Indoor or covered rings prevent us from having to reschedule due to weather. If these
are not available, contact me to discuss what you have available and I am more than willing to accommodate with whatever space you have available at your farm. Make sure there is plenty of good parking space for trailers and cars and seating for auditors. Stalls, pens or paddocks for horses traveling further distances should be available if needed.

STEP 2: CHOOSE A DATE: Our prime calendar dates are weekends Friday-Sunday and cost
$1200/day. Our week day, Monday-Thursday, clinics cost $1000/day. Half days are available for locations close to home, Farmville, VA, and travel fees may apply to further locations. Before selecting a clinic date be sure to check with your local horse community for big local events that are already planned. Pick several options for dates so we can match them with our calendar and find dates that fit. If you do not have an indoor facility, also schedule a rain date.

STEP 3: CHOOSE YOUR PREFERRED CLINIC STRUCTURE
Sunny Side Horsemanship offers a variety of clinic structures catered to the wants and needs for each Clinic Host. We are very flexible and more than willing to adjust to make sure you and the participants are set up for the best of success.

Deposit of $350/day is due to book and hold a date for you. That deposit is deducted from the
clinic price, and balance is due the date of the event. SSH and facility fees should be divided amongst clinic participants according to the clinic structure selected above. Additional fees for auditing, haul-in stabling costs, etc should be added on by the Clinic Host to compensate their time.

STEP 4: CHOOSE CLASS TOPICS
As the Clinic Host you get to choose the topic(s) or theme for your event! Below are several
classes we offer. We’d be glad to further discuss designing a class structure custom to the
needs of your group.

• Overcoming Fear Ground & Saddle Work
• Problem Solving

• Biomechanics of Horse and Rider

STEP 5: SCHEDULE A CALL WITH CHRISTINA
Once you have considered the options in Steps 1-4, plan a call with to discuss the event
details and answer your questions. The goals during this call are to talk through your ideas
about the clinic structure and class topics, how to reach potential participants from the local
equine community in your area, and how to prepare for participants including stabling.
